The problem is, you think you have time

I’m a geek that got out of corporate life in 2008, started a successful consulting business and founded a social network for technologists without degrees called ThePaperCeiling.com

In 2008, I learned about Gangplank HQ at the AZEC conference and I have never met a group more passionate about making Arizona a better, more start up friendly place.

I’ve been co-working at Gangplank ever since and have found it creates an environment for collaboration and innovation that could not be imagined otherwise, and it’s great to know that other places are starting to pay attention.

I started practicing Rinzai Zen seven years ago and feel very lucky to be a student of Kyozan Joshu Sasaki Roshi.  One time after I described Zen practice to a friend, they commented that Zen is like a martial art for your mind.  I used to teach Tai Chi, and since Zen practice is a form that you are constantly learning and deepening it clicked with me.

My fascination with Arizona Wines started last year and I’ve been amazed at the progress and future of wines from Arizona.

Life is the process of learning who we really are, so I’m expecting to be changing this as I go along.
