The problem is, you think you have time

I’m a technologist that left corporate life in 2008 to start freelancing and follow my passions and my startup ThePaperCeiling.com, a community for technologists without degrees.

I have been a part of Gangplank since I first heard abut it at the 2008 AZEC conference and I feel lucky to be part of a community this passionate about making Arizona a better place to live and do business.

I’ve been co-working at Gangplank ever since it’s an environment for a type of collaboration and innovation that could not be imagined otherwise, and it’s great to know that other places are starting to pay attention.

I started practicing Rinzai Zen seven years ago and feel lucky to get to practice with Kyozan Joshu Sasaki Roshi.  Zen is a form, not a state of mind or philosophy, and Joshu Roshi has said you have to get beyond the world of words.  Of course, there’s no shortage of people talking about Zen (myself included), but you must be sure to not mistake the picture of food for the food itself.

My fascination with Arizona Wines started in 2008 year and I’m excited about the future of wines from Arizona, and have recently started working with Pillsbury Wine.

Life is the process of learning who we really are, so I’m expecting to be changing this as I go along.
